آخرین روز شیمیدرمانی

چندشم میشود
وقتی فلفل دلمهای را
قاچ میکنم
و دستم
به کونهی پرتخمهاش میخورد
انگار پوست خودم است
که هی از دانههای ریزودرشت
پر میشود
و من هرشب در خواب
آنها را دانهدانه میکَنم.
سرطان! سرطان!
امروز آخرین روز شیمیدرمانیست
و من ترا
چون کونهی فلفل دلمهای
به آشغالدانی خواهم انداخت.

The Last Day of Chemotherapy
Majid Naficy
I am repulsed
When I slice
A bell pepper
And touch its butt
Full of seeds,
As if it is my own skin
Which becomes full of bumps
Small and big incessantly,
And every night in my sleep
I pick them
One by one.
Cancer! Cancer!
Today is the last day of chemotherapy
And I will throw you out
Like the butt of a bell pepper
Into the trash can.
