به دار زدن محسن

به یاد محسن شکاری
آه باران!
تا چند بر بام خانه‌ی من می‌کوبی
و خواب مرا می‌آشوبی؟
آیا از دروازه‌ی زندانی می‌آیی
که مادر محسن آنجا دیروز
با شنیدن خبر اعدام پسرش
فریادی از جان بر‌کشید؟
پنجره را باز می‌کنم
تا فریاد او را بهتر بشنوم
از زندان و چوبه‌ی دار
از خاکسپاری و زاری.
میخواهم به خیابانهای ایران بازگردم
در کنار مهساها و محسن ها بایستم
و از زن, زندگی, آزادی سخن بگویم
تا حکم اعدام بر‌افتد
ملا‌قاتل, در دادگاه بایستد
و عصر آدمیت آغاز گردد.

How long do you pound on my roof
And disrupt my sleep?
Are you coming from the prison gate
Where yesterday, Mohsen’s mother
Shouted from her depth
Upon hearing the news of her son’s execution?
I open the window
To hear her shouts better
From the prison and the gallows
From the burial and her mourning.
I want to return to the streets of Iran
To stand with Mahsas and Mohsens
Speaking of woman, life, freedom
Until capital punishment is abolished
The hanging Mullahs stand at courts
And the age of humanity begins.
